KARL BURKE

We are delighted to welcome Karl Burke as a trainer for Quest Thoroughbreds – Karl needs little introduction as one of the very best trainers in the world, and will train the 102 rated sprinter MARSHMAN in our colours going forward, who he has trained for his entire career to date. Karl has trained a Mammoth 21 Group 1 winners to date and will have numerous chances to add to that record throughout the rest of 2026.
Karle trains his racehorses at Spigot Lodge, located in Middleham, North Yorkshire. This family-run training facility has become renowned for its excellence in the racing industry, offering state-of-the-art training facilities and a supportive atmosphere for both trainers and owners.

ROSS BURDON
Newmarket
Ross began his training career last season and has performed exceedingly well with the little ammunition he has had to work with to date.
He has worked for a number of top operations prior to taking out his licence, including for Sir Henry Cecil, Andrew Balding and Chris Waller in Australia. We are very excited to be working with him and look forward to building a string here in the future.
The unsung heroes of the racing industry.
They work outside in all weather’s and mainly at silly o’clock. The love and affection they give the horses has to be seen to be believed.

Phantom House oozes history from every brick.
They have been training here for over 200 years. The yard is accessible to all the amazing gallops available through the Jockey Club in Newmarket, the headquarters of horse racing.
Phantom House has in the past housed the winners of the Ascot Gold Cup and all five UK Classics.
