Having made his TV debut on Channel 4 in 1994, Simon became the lead commentator for Channel 4 racing in 2000, maintaining this role until 2016 when the television rights switched to ITV. 

Simon can still be heard commentating regularly at the biggest meetings in the calendar, and also writes a regular column for the Sporting Life. 

We are absolutely delighted to bring Simon onboard as our Ambassador going forward, and look forward to some good days out ahead with Generous Rascal, a horse he has recently bought into with us.
