We are delighted to be offering shares in arguably the best bred horse we have ever been able to purchase as a syndicate. GENEROUS RASCAL is not only a full-brother to Group 2 winning two-year-old Alkumait (standing at Capital Stud for €3,000), but also a half-brother to 2000 Guineas winner Chaldean (£20,000 stud fee, Banstead Manor). Having been purchased for 260,000gns as a yearling at Tattersalls Book 1 Yearling Sale in October 2024, he has only had four starts to date achieving an opening mark of 78. He was a well-backed favourite to win his maiden second time out as a two-year-old, before finishing 2nd to a smart looking Al Shaqab filly last December. His only run as a three-year-old came at Southwell on the 1st January, finishing a good 3rd in a race that is likely to work out well at a level.

This is an excellent opportunity to own a share of an exciting, and completely unexposed three-year-old with all of his best days ahead of him. He will be aimed towards the lucrative three-year-old options first of all across All-Weather Finals Day before a turf campaign where he can be campaigned as a proper Saturday three-year-old sprinter.

Jordan felt he would make closer to 50,000gns on the day and so was delighted to pick him up for as little as 35,000gns, particularly as he had followed him in during the October Sale last year where he went unsold for 55,000gns.

GENEROUS RASCAL will be gelded straight away, which we feel could be the key to unlocking his true potential. The cost of this operation, alongside associated commissions, transport expenses, syndicate registration costs as well as three months of fees until the end of April, are all included in the upfront cost per unit share.

We have an unrivalled strike rate with our Horses In Training purchases, and Jordan is adamant that this horse can be a real flagbearer for the syndicate for 2026 and beyond.
